It’s 21 lb.!

Our “one” watermelon in the backyard is finally ready! Just in time for Labor Day Weekend. And just in time for the GOING LOCAL week, which is a one week “challenge” to Indiana citizens to eat at least one Indiana locally grown or produced food at each meal during the seven day event which is scheduled for August 31-September 6th, 2008.

Can’t get any more “local” than in my backyard!

Even though we are not watermelon lovers, but for this beauty, I’m sure we will all enjoy it.

I’ll let you know how it taste tomorrow!
