GREEN Sky – Delta Airlines
Another business trip yesterday. Again, no recycle bins at all 3 airports I pass through.
But to my surprise, when I pulled out the SKY magazine from the back packet of the seat, what did I see – a big GREEN Sky -
“If every American household turns off the lights during Earth Hour on March 29, it will prevent more than 16.500 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere. …It’s so easy…. what else can we do?”
It must be their GREEN issue! All the articles have environmental, eco, or some kind of Green theme to them!
I like this one: Green Numbers.
One soft drink can recycled by each elementary school student in America would save 24.8 million cans. That would be enough aluminum to create 21 Boeing 737 airplanes.
Also this one: How Green Are Their Valleys?. I had a very nice discussion with the French professor from Paris, who sat right next to me, about this article. He was very happy to see the vast amount of Green News and Green business in the US.
If everyone who fly Delta Airline this month (March, 08) would pick up this magazine, and just do one thing it suggested to be GREEN, I believe our world will be a much better place!!
